Lasagna is easily one of my top 3 favorite comfort meals. Throughout my years of eating good and learning to cook and i have picked up a couple tips along the way that have made this classic meal taste so much better. It looks messy but taste soooooo good.😋

This recipe is for 2 people but you can easily adjust the portions for your family.
They key ingredient swaps that make this recipe more flavorful are Italian sausage, Italian seasoning, colby jack cheese, and cajun seasoning.
Ingredients:
1/2 of 16 oz box of Lasagna Noodles
1/2 of 24 oz jar of Pasta Sauce
1/2 lb of Italian Sausage (Italian sausage adds more flavor but you can still sub for your choice of meat)
Italian seasoning
Onion seasoning
Natures Seasoning
Tonys Creol seasoning
spoonful of minced garlic
1/2 of 15oz jar of ricotta cheese
4oz mozzarella cheese
4oz colby jack cheese
Instructions:
Add salt and noodles to boiling water and cook until al dente.
In a separate pan, combine Italian sausage, minced garlic, and seasonings. Cook until done, then add the pasta sauce.
Shred the mozzarella and Colby Jack cheese and divide in half.
Cheese mixture: Combine the ricotta cheese, half of the mozzarella, and seasonings.
Pour a little bit of sauce at the bottom of the pan. Then layer noodles, cheese mixture, meat sauce, and repeat until all ingredients have been used.
Combine the rest of the cheese and top the final layer.
Cook at 375°F for 20–25 minutes.
